If Dagbon Has Seen Peace Let Kotoku Also See Same --- Nana Kweku Atta II

The Asafohene of Akyem Kotoku traditional area, Nana Kweku Atta II has charged the president, senior minister, Hon. Yaw Osafo Maafo and the minister of chieftaincy and Religious affairs to be proactive in solving the chieftaincy crisis which has left the town in quagmire for years in all the Akyem lands Oda to be precise.

Speaking on an Akim Oda radio base station, he said, "there are a lot of speculations that Dagbon-Yendi peace was achieved with the powerful intervention of the NPP government led by Nana Akufo Addo and his aforementioned ministers" and if so, that of Akyem Kotoku especially Oda must also be solved to pave way for the one district one factory program which was launched by his government. 

According to him, every development in the area has come to a halt because of the chieftaincy litigation.

“There are no jobs for our youth, no proper health care all because of the chieftaincy crisis”.

He pleaded with the government to help resolve the Akim Oda Chieftaincy crisis which has been pending for over 19 years.
