NPP To Implement “1 NDC Supporter, 1 Slap” Policy – Hopeson Adorye Teases

A Deputy National Security Coordinator in charge of airports, Mr Hopeson Yaovi Adorye says the NPP is likely to introduce a new policy as “bonus” for mainly NDC members.

He disclosed the policy to be “1 NDC supporter, 1 slap” - in addition to the ongoing ‘1 district 1 factory, 1 village 1 dam, 1’ policies by the Nana Addo-led government.

“Even though the NPP did not promise '1 NDC Supporter 1 slap', we are committed to implement it as a bonus achievement,” The Security Coordinator wrote on his Facebook wall.

Mr Adorye’s comment follows series of slaps being received by some top NDC members from alleged security officers and NPP’s Henry Nana Boakye.

NDC MP for Ningo-Prampram Sam George during the just ended Ayawaso bye-elction was slapped by an security man believed to be a member of NPP’s 'Invincible Forces'.

Edem Agbana, the Deputy National Youth Organizer of the NDC was also reported to have received such unpleasant slaps from the same vigilante group member who operated as National Security person on the day of the bye-election.

Again, on Friday, February 1, 2019, outspoken National Communication Director of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi was introduced to the ‘slapping league’ after receiving a slap from NPP National Youth Organizer, Hnery Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana B at the studios of Asempa FM in Accra.

Even though Nana B has apologized for his act – the NDC has since given the police 24 hours to take action on the series of slap.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has also condemned all act of violence during the bye-election.
