NPP Honours Edmund Kyei

Edmund Kyei, the First Vice Chairman of New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Asokwa Constituency, has been honoured by the party.

A group calling itself, ‘Help Nana Rule Ghana, presented a citation to him during a ceremony at Golden Tulip in Kumasi on Saturday.

This was during the maiden annual awards ceremony of ‘Help Nana Rule Ghana,’ which seeks to honour hardworking NPP members to sustain their good works.

Edmund Kyei, who is also a national communication member of the NPP, was particularly honoured for positively projecting the party, especially in the media.

He was also lauded for his invaluable contributions to the development of grassroots members of the ruling political party over the years.

“This is in recognition of your contributions and continued efforts as a member of the NPP in this Nana Akufo-Addo-led government to strengthen the party’s grassroots.

“Your dedication and commitment is greatly appreciated. We value what you do to help the group, Help Nana Rule Ghana and the entire grassroots of the NPP,” the citation read.

In his succinct remarks, Edmund Kyei said his hard work for the party has eventually been recognized accordingly.

He said that the award would spur him on to work hard for the NPP to become more attractive to help increase the party’s membership base.

Mr. Kyei also tasked the teeming NPP members to start preaching about the good works of the NPP government to ensure victory in 2020.
