Police Trying Hard To Let Sam George's Assailants Go Scot-free – Asiedu Nketia Alleges

The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has accused the Ghana Police Service of trying to allow the masked security personnel who assaulted Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo-Prampram, Sam George during the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election go scot-free.

According to him, the Police is intentionally delaying the process for their escape that is why they haven't been apprehended despite incessant calls for them to face full rigor of the law.

Speaking on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, he made reference to similar cases in the past saying, “this same Police allowed two NPP ladies to escape outside the country when drug charges were levelled against them.”

He asked the Police Service to speed up their hunt for the men in mask who beat up the Ningo-Prampram MP.
