Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency, Kennedy Agyapong has made wild allegations against the Minority Chief Whip and MP for Asawase, Alhaji Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak.

Speaking on Wednesday's edition of 'Me Man Nti' programme on Neat FM from Parliament, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong accused the Asawase MP of "defiling a twelve year old girl".

According to him, Hon. Muntaka defiled the young girl and was compelled to marry her.

He narrated that after his angry confrontation with Hon. Muntaka at Parliament on Wednesday, January 30, 2019; some Muslims revealed to him this top secret of the Minority Chief Whip.

Mr. Agyapong vowed to provide evidence to substantiate his allegation should any person dare to challenge him.

"I am more Muslim than Muntaka . . . I didn't even know that he defiled a twelve year old girl till some Muslims informed me . . .The Muslims told me and I can provide the recordings. They told me, last week Wednesday, that he has defiled a 12-year old. I'm not the one saying it. It's there. And they even forced him to marry the girl . . . If you like; I will give you the recordings,” he stated emphatically.

Peacefmonline.com also contacted Hon. Mubarak Muntaka for his response on the allegations leveled against him by his colleague MP and according to him, he is “a very responsible person and not going to waste precious time on such a person.”

“I defile a 12yr old girl why he is a law maker. If he is a responsible law maker he should bring it to the floor of plmt (Parliament) and let me be held responsible. That is his cup of tea. He cannot get me into his gutter. I am a very responsible person and not going to waste precious time on such a person,” he replied in a text message to Peacefmonline.com when contacted.
