Felix Kwakye Ofosu And Agyenim Boateng Exposed?

Former Deputy Minister for Communications in the erstwhile Mahama Administration, Felix Ofosu Kwakye and the Campaign Spokesperson of John Mahama 2020, James Agyenim Boateng, have challenged Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to ‘arrest’ the cedi from its fast-depreciating state.

According to the duo, it is time for the Vice-President to prove his worth with regards to stabilizing the local currency against major trading foreign currencies, especially the US dollar.

He took a swipe at Dr. Bawumia over his earlier claim that he had arrested the cedi and handed the keys to the IGP.

In a picture circulating on social media, Felix Ofosu Kwakye can be seen trading in foreign currency with Mr. Agyenim Boateng, exchanging $1 for GH500.00. An obvious dig at the Vice-President, who is the Head of the Economic Management Team.

But it appears they have come unstuck in their attempt at parody.

Many of their followers on social media, have launched a blistering attack on the two former government appointees, questioning their decision to portray $1 as eqivalent to GH500 instead of $100 to GH500; even if their act was deliberate.
