It's been revealed that veteran musician and music Producer, Willi Roi died in the premises of Zylofon Arts Complex.

Head of Communications for Zylofon Media, Samuel Atuobi Baah popularly known in the music industry as "Sammy Flex" confirmed this to host Kwame Adjetia on Neat FM's "Entertainment Ghana".

According to him, the late Willi Roi had returned from a performance to his office at the former Royal Richester Hotel which has been turned into the Zylofon Arts Complex.

The veteran musician had played a 'gig' and was dropping off his keyboard when the security personnel at the place found him dead in his apartment later after his return, Sammy Flex disclosed.

He noted that Willi Roi who passed away on Sunday evening, February 10, 2019 used to reside in the Arts Complex.

Although there was directive from EOCO to the management of Zylofon to hand over all properties belonging to their embattled Chief Executive, Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM 1, Sammy didn't know why the deceased decided to be in the Zylofon property, but believed he went back to his apartment because it was late for him to return back home.

He added that it was not strange to find Willi Roi in the Arts Complex because he sometimes slept there when he is fatigued.

“Our Arts complex used to be a hotel which is the former Royal Richester Hotel. He has a studio there and sometimes they work into the night in the studio. So, he sometimes sleeps there during days that they work at night. Often times, his house in Tema but when he feels he is tired and can’t go to Tema; he can sleeps there”.
