The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) has endorsed 2019 year of reading and encouraged every youth to develop the habit of reading.
In a statement; “NUGS calls on youth and students of the country to use this year and the celebration of reading to develop the passion and love towards reading.”

The National Union of Ghana Students wishes to use this opportunity to officially endorse the 2019 year of reading, an initiative by the Ghana Library Authority to encourage youth and students to develop the habit of reading.
NUGS calls on youth and students of the country to use this year and the celebration of reading to develop the passion and love towards reading.
The Year of Reading will be officially launched on February 19 ,2019 at the forecourt of the Ghana Library Authority, Headquarters under the theme *"Reading for Progress"* and we encourage students and youth of the country to be fully involved since this awareness creation towards reading will go along way at developing the human resources of the country .
NUGS wishes to use this opportunity to call on all corporate institutions and communities to be involved in the celebration for the betterment of education in this country.
