Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has disclosed why he was absent during the presentation of the 2019 State of the Nation Address (SONA).
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Thursday, presented the 2019, SONA in Parliament in accordance with Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana.
Present among others were two former Presidents of the country; Jerry John Rawlings and John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking in an interview with Class FM's Benjamin Akakpo, Friday, Former President Kufuor said he was unable to attend because of ill-health.
According to him, "I have not been too well lately and I am under medical advice to take some rest; so I am out of town that was why I couldn’t attend."
Meanwhile, he is impressed with how President Akufo-Addo delivered his address in Parliament.
