Kufuor Describes 2019 SONA As ‘Superb’ . . . Commends Minority

President Akufo-Addo's 2019 State of the Nation Address (SONA) has been described as top-notch.

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor speaking in an interview on Class FM said the President's address was 'superb' and very practical.

The President's address has been welcomed by many especially as it covered almost every aspect of the economy.

This year’s presentation in Parliament was void of the usual heckling from the Minority caucus as well as the raising of placards with different inscriptions tagging the address.

"The delivery was superb; he flowed very well . . . there was a touch of humour that got everybody in parliament tickled. The opposition didn’t heckle and they all seemed to enjoy what was going on . . . and that is how it should be. He did a marvelous job. I was assured and I really commend him on the performance," former President Kufuor noted.

He also acknowledged how the minority in Parliament comported themselves; saying it was because everything the President said ‘sounded very practical’.
