First Vice Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Brong Ahafo Region, Kwame Baffoe has asserted that the leaked tape of the Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo is an existing agenda of the party to make the Akufo-Addo led-government "ungovernable" and "unpopular".

To him, it does not come as surprise to hear the opposition NDC claiming the leaked tape of their National Chairman Ofosu-Ampofo is "doctored", in spite of the fact that their own Deputy Communications Officer, Kwaku Boahen, has confirmed its authenticity.

Speaking on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show, Abronye DC as popularly called, stated; "one of the persons who attended the meeting was Kwaku Boahen and he sat on radio to say that it is true, all what Ofosu-Ampofo said are true and the party is happy about it, and that is exactly what they will do from now till 2020 and that was why they clapped for him."

He revealed that the opposition party made its intentions to make the current adminstration "unpopular" at its (NDCs) first press conference held days after President Akufo-Addo was sworn-in, which was addressed by then National Chairman, Dr. Kofi Portuphy. An agenda which is being pursued by the current NDC Chair.

“...and so the ways and means they want to employ to make Akufo-Addo government ungovernable and unpopular are to engage in kidnapping, killing and robbing of some targeted Ghanaians. And so Ofosu-Ampofo's leaked tape is an existing plan they have already put in place, first orchestrated by Kofi Portuphy and though he is not at post anymore, Ofosu-Ampofo, who has taken over the mantle of Chairman, is continuing with the agenda. He (Ofosu-Ampofo) was executing the agenda,” he claimed.
