The National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku has disclosed that De-Eye Group are no threat to the nation as shown in Manasseh Azure's video.

According to him, even though the group has not been registered under the party’s leadership but he can say emphatically that they are not a threat to anybody as has been speculated by Manasseh’s Investigation.

Speaking on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Programme, he explained that if NPP and NDC can have such group who look jobs for their members and advise them against hooliganism as Militia, then their job as political party organizers will be easy.

He stressed that the way and manner militia groups operate cannot be compare to a group that "wear suit and does opening and closing prayers before job begins and closes.

"If we have such a militia group then I will have a peace of mind.....because they are not troublesome…a militia that does opening and closing, does not attack anybody since their inception…Is like a women wings movement…I don’t think they are harmful and no threat to the nation.

He therefore added that the party’s leadership will under study them and will see what next of action to take about it.
