Police Should Drop Charges Against Ofosu-Ampofo, Others - Allotey Jacobs

The former Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs says the police CID should drop the charges levelled against his National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo.

Mr Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit crime to wit kidnapping and conspiracy to commit crime to wit threat of harm.

Two other executives of the NDC, Sammy Gyamfi and Kwaku Boahen, National Communications Officer and Deputy National Communications Officer respectively have also been charged with the same charges of conspiracy to commit a crime to wit kidnapping and conspiracy to commit a crime to wit threat of harm.

Speaking to Kwami Sefa Kayi on Wednesday's Edition of Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', Allotey Jacobs said if others had been left off the hook with just a warning, the same should be applied to the three.
