Kwahu Aduamoa Community Gets Portable Water

The Aduamoamankuo in Accra, a benevolent organization, with support from the Ghana Water Company has provided a portable water facility to the Kwahu Aduamoa community.

The effort is to help end the perennial water challenges in the area.

Speaking in an interview with the Ghana News Agency at Aduamoah in the Kwahu East District, Nana Afari Mintah, the Chief of Kwahu Aduamoamankuo, said it is the intention of his organization to provide health, education and sanitation facilities in Kwahu Aduamoa.

He said the community has over the past ten years not had water flowing through their pipes and this is making life unbearable for the community members especially during the harmattan season.

Nana Mintah said the Association would soon be cutting the sod for the construction of an ultra- modern maternity ward at the community health centre to serve the surrounding communities.

This, he said, was to end the stress many undergo to access quality healthcare delivery.

Nana Mintah called for support from philanthropists and non-governmental organizations to help the Association to fulfil its plans.
