The one-year-old boy, Francis Mawusi Ahiabenu, who was stolen at Takoradi market Circle last Friday, has been found.
Information gathered so far indicates that the baby was found at a slum in Effia Kuma, a suburb of Takoradi where the woman who stole him and her boyfriend are living.
Francis was stolen around the post office Market in Takoradi by a fair, slim woman on Friday, March 22, 2019, according to reports.
The report further indicated that the baby's mother gave him to the culprit who said she was going to buy something for him; a way of helping the mother who was busily attending to customers. She later realized the culprit was abducting her baby and not rendering help as she thought.
Meanwhile, the Regional Police command is yet to give further details on the arrest of the culprit and her boyfriend.
