A Vice President of the Council of African Political Parties (CAPP), Samuel Koku Sitsofe Anyidoho has posited it is only a “Mindset Transformation”, that will unlock the potential of Africa to create wealth.

Koku Anyidoho made the point when addressing the well-attended on-going 2019 Economic Forum under the auspices of CAPP, taking place in the Tunisian Touristique City of, Hamamat.

According to Koku Anyidoho, “Africa is sitting on limitless wealth yet we continue to wallow in poverty because of the blocked mindset that has locked up our ability to exponentially transform our collective existence”.

Making the point further, Koku Anyidoho said that “Africa does not need geographical transformation: what we need, is, a hurried but calculated mindset transformation. If we do not walk into the era of positive disruptive thinking which will grant us the mindset transformation we need to tap into the array of wealth that Creation has bestowed on our beloved Continent; then we are heading for perpetual doom.”

Koku Anyidoho, differentiated wealth from money; and said that money is only a medium of exchange and it is time that African Political Parties fixed their attention on wealth creation for the benefit of nations instead of staying glued to a slave-induced poverty mentality of monetary entrapment.

“Africa has a destiny and we must not allow our destiny to be derailed by selling our wealth for money,” Koku Anyidoho said.

The CAPP Vice President, who is also the President of CAPP West Africa, did not hide his deep worry about the current political trends on the continent and expressed his concern about a rising generation that may not have the patience to countenance the lethargic policies of the current crop of political actors.

Under the auspices of CAPP, the Economic Forum seeks to create the necessary platforms that will trigger the synergy between African Political Parties and business conglomerates for the benefit of the Continent.

Among others, the new General Secretary of the CAPP Secretariat, Dr. Faysal Hassan Ibrahim, and the Chairman of CAPP’s Economic Council, Omar Belkhaira, also took turns to address the Forum and stressed on the urgent need for a new wave of speedy engagements between African Political Parties and businesses for the betterment of the living standards of the People of Africa.

Koku Anyidoho was elected Vice President of the Council of African Political Parties in 2017 for a four-year term and continues to remain a great ambassador for Ghana as far as his participation in CAPP’s activities are concerned.

Countries participating in the 2019 Economic Forum, include, Ghana, Zambia, Rwanda, Chad, Somalia, Libya, Republic of Sudan, Republic of South Sudan, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Morocco, and the host country, Tunisia.
