Kumawood actress, Maame Serwaa, born Clara Amoateng Benson, has stated that she will not hesitate to convert to Islam to marry a Muslim man for love.

Conversion to different religions and raising kids to follow an alternative faith has been a major challenge for some lovers, especially within the African setting.

Such inter-faith marriages barely survive, except for a few cases.

However, Maame Serwaa, a Christian, said she will never ditch a man for being a Muslim.

“I will fall for a Muslim, why not? If only I want the person and I really want a relationship or maybe a future with the person, why not? I will just go for the person and my father is cool with everything. I don’t mind converting”, she told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM on Monday, 15 April 2019.

She also denied having a romantic relationship with Ghanaian rapper Awal Mohammed, despite speculations by the media.
