We Are Not Changing Logo For USD 50,000 - NaBCo

The management of the Nation Builders Corps (NaBCo) has debunked allegations that it is changing the corps’ logo.

This was contained in a press statement issued by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) on behalf of the management of NaBCo on Tuesday, 23 April 2019.

The release said the corps’ attention has been drawn to a “false news item from www.thenewstateman.com and www.newsghana.info and others suggesting” that it “is changing its current logo”.

“These portals further suggest that the supposed new NaBCo logo project has been awarded to an American Tech and Designing company, Janner Tech Solutions during a board meeting; at a cost of some USD 50,000.”

NaBCo said it has neither contemplated taking such an action nor knows the said company.

NaBCo said “it has no intention of changing its logo nor the cloth and, thus, deem these false and rehearsed tales from such backdoor portals as an elaborate attempt by ill-intentioned opponents of the scheme to smear NaBCo’s reputation on its successful delivery of jobs to the teaming unemployed graduates of Ghana.

“Our NaBCo logo represents our organisation well as an enviable brand. We, therefore, have no plan to change or alter it”.

It further stated that: “The allegations of a Board meeting and a sanctioned contract award reportedly coming from the CEO of NaBCo, Dr Ibrahim Anyars Imoro, are utterly false and a figment of their imagination.

“If the publishers have evidence to the contrary, they should make that available to the general public”, NaBCo dared, adding that in the absence of such evidence, “we entreat readers to disregard these fabrications”.

NaBCo also emphasised that its graduate trainees are “happy and satisfied with the Nation Builders scheme, which has rescued their reputation and put them to work to contribute to nation building.”
