Liverpool Seek To Go Past Man City Again

Liverpool FC will be hoping to go top of the English Premier League again as they play Huddersfield Friday night.

The Reds were overtaken by Manchester City on Wednesday after they beat city rivals Manchester United 2-0.

Liverpool play the bottom-placed side in an early Match Day 36 game, seeking to scoop all the three points to lift hopes of ending their almost three-decade-old Premier League drought.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is, however, not giving full attention to the match at Anfield as his side play FC Barcelona in the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

Currently on 88 points, just one point behind Man City, the Reds will hope to win their remaining matches against Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers and hope the league leaders, the only side they have lost to, drop points in their final games.

The Citizens have Burnley, Leicester City and Brighton to play to end the season.
