NPP Sets Campaign Mood With 'Flagship' Policies Display [PHOTOS]

The ruling New Patriotic Party [NPP] has begun what promises to be a sophisticated evidence-based campaigning ahead of next year's elections.

The party has commenced its interactive rally dubbed 'People's Forum' in the Asawase Constituency, this time around, in unique style with demonstration of the government's numerous flagship policies introduced in the last two years under the leadership of His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.

Rather than wearing party t-shirts and other party paraphernalia, the party is introducing new strategies to better communicate and inform Ghanaians about the various social intervention programmes being implemented to enhance the socio-economic development of Ghanaians.

The campaign strategy is being coordinated by Andy Owusu, the Programme's Manager of the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako.

Amongst the policies boldly displayed at the forum included ’Planting for Food and Jobs(PFJ), Planting for Export and Rural Development,  Free Senior High School, Nation Builders' Corps(NABCO), and National Entrepreneurship Investment Programme (NEIP).

Others are One District,  One Factory (1D1F), One Village,  One Dam(1V1D), One District,  One Warehouse, Restoration of Teachers' and Nurses' Training Allowances, amongst others.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the party, Mr.  Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, who is the Patron for the Constituency People's Forum, says "the party wants to change the face of political campaigning in the country".

According to him, political opponents, particularly the NDC would have difficulty marching the NPP because they "have nothing to show for the past eight years they were in power except for corruption and gross incompetence".

Chairman Wontumi noted that the government of the NPP has performed beyond expectations, adding that Ghanaians would gladly renew the mandate of the President come December 2020 elections.

He therefore charged supporters to continue to rally behind the government as it continues to fulfill the various promises made to Ghanaians.
