Ghanaian actress Portia Asare Boateng in December 2013 married Rev. John Wilberforce Aidoo at a beautiful white wedding ceremony at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) in Tema Community 5.
Portia went off the screens after her wedding ceremony with many alleging that her pastor husband asked her to quit acting. The actress is back to continue from where she ended but from indications, all is not well between Portia and her husband. When Zionfelix questioned her if she is still married to Rev. John Wilberforce Aidoo, she paused for some seconds and answered yes.
Portia Asare during the chat she had with Zionfelix at the Kumasi airport when she had just landed in the Garden City further revealed that family and friends pressured her to marry her husband, Rev. John Wilberforce Aidoo.
