It'll Be A Bad Precedence To Allow Stonebwoy And Shatta Wale 'Get off Scot-free' – Maurice Ampaw
A private legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw says self-acclaimed dancehall King, Stonebwoy is likely to face a jail term after pulling a gun at a public event.
According to him, Stonebwoy’s action was a threat, not only to his rival Shatta Wale but to all who patronized this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards [VGMA].
“Stonwbwoy caused a serious assault to the people around at the moment. He caused reasonable fear to all by pulling a gun,” he said in an interview with NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.
To him, the two musicians should be used as scapegoats to deter others from exhibiting such a bad behaviour.
Tensions heightened when Shatta Wale and his cohorts stormed the stage uninvited thereby resulting in a clash between both parties shortly after Stonebwoy was called up stage to receive the award for ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’.
