Abronye DC Calls On Ministry Of Roads And Highways To Repair New Dorma Roads  

Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC has called on the Ministry of Roads and Highways to ensure that new Dorma roads are repaired.

According to him, the New Dorma road which have been under construction for the past years have been abandoned, leaving commuters and resident stranded.

Speaking on Okay FM’s Ade Akye Abia Programme, Chairman Abronye DC revealed that due to the bad roads commuters find it difficult to wash during the day because of dust that comes from the road.

“It was right for the youth of Dorma to demonstrate against deplorable roads…we are all aware that most of New Dorma towns are on road side and because of bad roads they cannot even wash and dry them during the day because of dust”, he complained.

Chairman Abronye DC  however threatened to petition the road and highway Minister to investigate about the 2.8 million Ghana cedi that was said to be used in constructing the New Dorma road captured in 2015 budget in the erstwhile Mahama administration.

"We must look for the money as soon as possible and used it to complete the roads” he charged.

“Hon. Amoako Attah and the GNPC boss must investigate GNPC fund that was supposed to be used to complete the project to be accounted for and help solve the bad roads problem once and for all”, he stressed.

He therefore called on the Minister of road and highways and the appropriate authorities to come to the aid of the good people of New Dorma and repair the deplorable roads for them.
