Photo: Wayne Rooney's Hair Transplant

THIS is the first picture of Wayne Rooney's new hair transplant. The England ace posted the snap of his new barnet on Twitter this morning, saying: "Hi all there's my head. It will take a few months to grow. Still a bit bloody to. But that's all normal." On Saturday The Sun revealed he had secretly visited an upmarket clinic in a bid to beat his premature baldness. Rooney then confirmed the transplant on his Twitter account and even asked for advice on hair gel. The Manchester United striker, 25, will have splashed thousands on his treatment. He told his 750,000 Twitter followers on Saturday: "I have had a hair transplant. I was going bald at 25 - why not. I'm delighted with the result."He joked to fans: "My head is bruised still. I promise I'll send a pic on Monday when bruising goes. Anyone recommend a hair gel?" The op is said to have lasted eight hours. Wife Coleen confirmed on the social networking site: "Yes, Wayne's had his hair done. His decision - not me asking him, like a lot are saying. Pleased for him and it will look great." Rooney was seen with his head covered with a baseball cap AND a hoodie despite the heat as he left Queen Anne Street Medical Centre in Central London on Thursday. The centre is home to the Harley Street Hair Clinic.
