The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor has mentioned that since 2017 his government has been developing a systematic policy framework in the Mineral resources sector to maintain the highest earn of value chain.

According to the Member of Parliament for Damango Constituency in the Savannah Region of Ghana, this will keep investors and partners under a particular framework in regards to exploitation of lithium and other green minerals and also helps the country to earn much than exporting the minerals in its raw state.

Ghana over the years has been exporting minerals in their raw state to other part of the countries for refinery purposes and this has been making the mineral endowed country to lose much in terms of revenue.

Speaking at Bloomberg New Economy Gateway, Africa at Marrrakesh in Morocco with highlight on Ghana, Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor reiterated that under no circumstances will Ghana export lithium resources or other green resources in their raw state.

He said the Ghana’s government is keen to keeping the greatest earn of this newly found mineral.

According to the Damango Legislator, Ghana’s Democracy is very rooted and robust like countries like Germany, England among others and to him, Rule of law, good governance and sanity of contracts are the major features of this robotic democracy.
