The Sustainable Development Excellence Awards (SDEA) 2023 awarded Mr. Palgrave Frimpong Boakye-Danquah, the Government’s Spokesperson on Governance and Security as the “Excellence Communicator in Governance”.

The award is in recognition of his unwavering commitment to promoting governance and security, and exceptional contributions to sustainable development. According to the SDEA, Mr Boakye-Danquah’s tireless effort and dedication has made a significant impact on society, thereby fostering stability, accountability and progress.

The Sustainable Development Excellence Awards (SDEA) 2023 ceremony which was held on Saturday, July 1 in Accra, themed: ‘Innovative Solutions for a Sustainable Future’, honoured outstanding efforts to advance environmental, social, and economic sustainability via practices and initiatives in sustainable development.

On the whole, Mr. Boakye-Danquah’s excellent communication skills in Ghana as well as his function as the voice of governance and security has given rise to several initiatives and innovations which is very commendable.

SDEA is an annual programme aimed at honouring individuals, groups, and companies which have made remarkable contributions to sustainable development as well as committed to improving the world and building a more sustainable future.

The Awards Night was hosted by African Youth for Sustainable Development.
