Samuel Awuni Nominated For Humanitarian Awards Global

Popularly referred to as “the unseen hands behind brands”, Mr Samuel Awuni is the Lead Manager for BrandNet Communications, a digital and social media Strategic Agency. He is the brand manager behind several significant brands and products on social media, including public figures, popular brands, state institutions and private companies. He has over the years proven himself beyond doubt and has been highly recommended in his line of duty.

Mr. Awuni has been nominated for the Best Social Entrepreneur at this year’s Humanitarian Awards Global for his contribution to creativity, mentorship and employment opportunities afforded young people.
 
Samuel Awuni began his career as a reporter and later became the lead producer for GN Morning U.K. Before this, Samuel Awuni was the assistant producer for the Sunrise Morning show on 3fm.
 
Samuel is also the Executive Director of Youth Eye Innovations Foundation, an advocacy and research-based organization which has worked with institutions including; Ghana Education Service, the Head of States Awards Scheme and the National Youth Authority of Ghana on various youth-related projects and was instrumental in the launch of the National Youth Policy Implementation Plan of Ghana.
 
His long-standing affair with journalism saw him establish the BrandNet Communications in 2012 which works with notable brands and personalities in various aspects of communications including; brand management & advisory, content, social media management, publicity and PR services. He headed the digital media unit of Lucky Television as editor and also lectured at the Synergies Institute, a media-oriented institution.
 
His team has successfully trained several companies on strategic social media management skills and superintended the establishment of social media units for these respective companies. BrandNet Communications also provides free consultancy services for young startups to fully maximize the benefits of social media.
 
Samuel Awuni is also a freelance writer, a social commentator and a youth activist with most of his works being published on Peacefmonline, Rainbow Radio, GhanaWeb, Daily Graphic, Daily Guide, Yen News and several blogs and social media platforms.
