Social Commentator, Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has lauded the vision of  Dr. mahamudu bawumia, lkening it to the sermon on mount. 

He highlighted that the speech delivered by Dr. Bawumia which outlines his vision for his new government if he is elected as President in december 2024, gives hope to the poor and needy. 

he said, ''this is like sermon on the mount, it is like recapping what Jesus Christ said and did on the sermon on the mount; giving hope to the poor and the needy because Christ was preaching to the poor and the nedy. the rich were not with him''. 

According to Allotey Jacobs, who was contributing to panel discussions on Peace Fm's "Kokrokoo" morning show on Wednesday, 14th February, the vision and objectives of the Vice President and leader of the NPP must be embraced and given the needed support come 2024. mr. Allotey added that, the pseecgh of bawumia is meant to raise the political base of the New patriotic party. 

''If you take a closer look at all what bawumia said, you can see that he is trying to revive the political base of his party. The political base, hihtherto, were losing hope in the NPP government but Vice President bawumia's speech has reignited their trust hence increasing the hope of the political base of the party'', Allotey Jacobs further revealed.
