Bawumia Would Increase Ghana’s Gold Reserve to Back the Cedi - Richard Ahiagbah

Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, has mentioned that the Vice President and Leader of the party, Dr. mahamudu Bawumia, will boost Ghana’s economy when he is voted into power in the December 7, presidential elections.

According to Richard Ahiagbah, the NPP flagbearer has what it takes to hit the road running once he is voted into power as the Ghana's President.

Taking to his ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) page, the Communications Director of the NPP said, "Imagine a Ghana where the cedi remains stable, and the economy thrives . . . Bawumia would increase Ghana’s gold reserve to back the cedi. By increasing Ghana’s reserve to back the cedi, Bawumia offers an ingenious solution to the perennial depreciation of our currency."

"It’s a bold and smart solution to an intractable problem that has plagued our nation for far too long. Let’s vote for Bawumia, and together, we can build a stronger and more prosperous Ghana. Let’s do it!"

The Communications Director alluded to the fact that the cedi has not been at its best for some time now but added that, with the interventions of the Bawumia led government, the cedi will be brought back to its originally glory.
