Managing Editor of the Bilingual Free Press, Alhaji Iddrisu Bature has stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its entire membership will be on the losing end after the upcoming delegates� congress in Sunyani. He believes the NDC will never be the same after the Sunyani Congress. Speaking to Suhini Alhassan on Radio Gold, Alhaji Bature emphatically stated that �regardless of the outcome of the congress, everybody in the party is a loser because many people are not looking beyond the congress. NDC will never be the same after the congress at Sunyani. If the congress does comes on, NDC will be the loser�,� he said. The former host of Radio Gold�s �Alhaji and Alhaji� programme again reiterated his earlier position that the former First Lady, never really wanted to run against Mills neither did the husband wanted to endorse her candidature, �but it was circumstances beyond their control� that pushed them to cross the Rubicon. �I am bringing up these issues because before the former First Lady wanted to contest for the flagbearership position, she resigned from her position. So what position is she going to occupy after the congress? That is the question we are asking. It is not too late. It is very incumbent on former President Rawlings to do something about the situation�,� he said. �(But I say again)�If this congress comes on, NDC will be the loser,� he repeated.
