Ndebugre Apologises To Former Chief Of Staff

The Former Peoples National Congress (PNC) Member of Parliament for Zebila, John Ndebugre has apologized for erroneously linking former Chief of Staff, Nana Ato Dadzie, to a damaging article that was re-printed recently by the Chronicle. Hon. Ndebugre had claimed that the former Chief of staff was the author of the said article, which called on NDC loyalists to hoot at NPP flag bearer, Nana Akufo Addo, during his campaign tours around the country. The Former MPs apology, contained in a four paragraph letter copied to Citifmonline.com came some four days after Hon Ndebugre declined a request by the former Chief of Staff to publicly apologize for the comments made on Citi FMs Big Issue program on Saturday July 16. Hon Ndebugre speaking to Citi News after presenting a copy of the apology letter said he relied entirely on the Chronicle publication which attributed, wrongly, the comment to the former Chief of Staff. The former MP has also stated that his apology is not as a result of threats of a legal suit made against him by the former Chief of staff on the Big Issue last Saturday but feels that it is right to retract and apologize after realizing his mistake. You realize that on the programme I declined the invitation to apologize and I said I would take a sober look at all the circumstances surrounding the thing and after playing the recorded version of the thing on Saturday I was then able to come to this conclusion. So I dont think that I came under any pressure.
