The Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has joined in the defence of the NPP flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who has been accused several times without proof by his political opponents of using drugs. For what reason must Kwesi Pratt join an NPP man who has been accused of something? Kwesi Pratt Jnr. describes the accusations as ?completely needless,? adding that ?as at now, not a shred of evidence has been provided to back the allegations which are being made and this is a matter of fact?. Kwesi! if you know clearly that the accuastion is baseless what again is your beef? Why can't you then directly write in your so-called nonsense newspapers that Nana is clean? ?I think it is important that those who make these accusations necessarily have to bring evidence to back the allegations?. What!, they have to bing back the allegations!? What allegations and from where? Oh! my God is this Pratt guy such a dangerous hypocrite? The Insight and Outside editor and auditor, Prof. Dr. Dr. Kwesi Pratt was speaking on Metro TV's Good Morning Ghana program on Wednesday August 3, where he noted that the allegations and accusations being leveled against Nana Akufo-Addo have not been handled well by the media team of the NPP. You see now! Kwesi"Best" is now turning to fool and blame the the NPP team as if they were novice! What a bloody cheap popularity and hypocrisy! According to him, these allegations peaked when 17 aspirants contested for the flagbearer slot of the NPP ahead of the 2008 presidential elections. And so what!, if they call you a gay does it make you a gay? And even if you are a gay what should be wrong with it? Kwesi Pratt's comments come on the back of a press statement released by the lawyers of Nana Akufo-Addo on Tuesday August 2, 2011 which sought to clear the name of the flagbearer, titled ?Akufo-Addo has never been arrested for drugs?. What concerns someboby like Kwesi Pratt about the Ware-fare of an NPP member? Yes! Kwesi's only interest is to put "fire in open Gas." "Despite the release of the statement however, the Editor of the Daily Post, one of the pro-NDC newspapers which continually publishes stories about the NPP flagbearer's alleged involvement in drugs and his subsequent arrest in the United States told host of Citi FM's Eyewitness News Shamima Muslim on Tuesday August 2 he still stands by his story and would not retract". Let me ask the Pro. Dr. Dr. Pratt, where the problem lies for him to really verify the truth in the so- claimed arrest of Nana in the United States. This means Kwesi Pratt knows 100% for sure that the Daily Post published a political propagatory nonsense, just like some nonentities accusing other as gays. Mike Dokosi said the decision of the lawyers to go to the J.F.K International Airport for documents to prove that Nana Addo has never been arrested at in the United States is totally misplaced and that they should rather go to the US narcotics officials if they want to clear Nana Addo's name. What a bullshit, why should someone go in to make enquiries about something which never happened? Kwesi Pratt however proposed that Nana Akufo-Addo's lawyers to ?complain to the National Media Commission, which would then find the basis for the allegations which have been made and make a definite pronouncement on the matter and bring the matter to a formal closure. >>> If you Kwesi Pratt really joins in the defence of Nana for being wrongly accused, what then are you waiting for, as a Professor in journalism, why can't you dive deep in the matter to fish out the truth that will long last clear Nana's name? Kwesi! don't try always to play on the intelligence of other people out of hypocrisy. "The other way is to go to the courts and get the courts to rule on the matter and that brings some formal closure". Kwesi Pratt is thinking he knows so much better, that he can even show the NPP how best they can go about the formal closure of the accusation. Kwesi! What should be closed if there is nothing opened? Don't you think you are not siding with Nana Addo but rather trying hypocitically to politicize and publicize the dirty allegation and accusation leveled on Nana? It does seem to me that the NPP for whatever reason is not looking for this formal closure to the debate and that is a problem for me also because this thing is getting quite serious and it is important to bring some formal closure. Said Kwesi Pratt. Tell me truly, Kwesi Pratt! what is your beef about what the NPP must do or not? "I do not understand why the New Patriotic Party is not interested in the process of bringing formal closure to this matter?. NPP can equally not understand why you are sooooooo much interested in the process to close what is not opened. Kwesi Pratt! my last question to you is, which judicial court in Ghana is draging Nana for any offence? Come on! stop that your hypocrite "Tom & Jerry something", face facts and be realistic. Don't take others for granted to play on their intelligence.
