"WAEC Must Reduce Price Of Online Scratch Cards"

Some parents whose wards� BECE results were recently released want the West African Examination Council (WAEC) to either stop the online process for checking results or reduce the cost of the scratch cards. The parents say the scratch cards are too expensive and their children are putting pressure on them to buy the cards to enable them check their results online. But authorities of WAEC have rejected the claims. Public Relations Officer of WAEC, Agnes Teye-Cudjoe says checking of the results online was not compulsory. She said parents can check the results with their wards� schools when the results are sent there.
