The History of Lybia includes the history of its rich mix of ethnic groups added to the indigenous Berber tribes which comprises of six distinct periods; Ancient Libya, the Roman era, the Islamic era, Ottoman rule, Italian rule, and the Modern Gadhafi era. Lybia I know is one Africa country that owes no nation, no skeletons of IMF loans.
Yes; it took just hours days to destroy Lybia by rebels with supports from the western world but, it will years to rebuild what it just a moment to destroy. One question ligers on my mind; why the support from the western? If not for the oil then what else? Watching on TV the fall of an African giant Hero (Col. Moammar Gadhafi) and his son, is one act that Africa should condemned with all impunity, passion and things we hold so dear to us. Gadhafi was been carried in their pick up and severely torched mercilessly by some so called rebels.
This is purely Human Rights violation at its highest order. The death of Gadhafi some say �marks a historic event for Lybia and it is the end of an 8-month long civil war that was only a small part of the 42-year reign of Gadhafi� "We saw him when he was arrogant. Now we want to see him when he is humiliated. We brought our children to see him today because this is a chance to see history," said a man who identified himself as Mohammed, to Reuters, "We want to see this arrogant person as a lifeless body, let all the people see him�. We all have our bad and good side; Gadhafi is human and definitely has his. I think Col. Gadhafi is just been assassinated and died a Hero.
Which African country pay its citizens that are 18 years and above and unemployed? This one good thing Gadhafi died with. I ask, where do we start? Which African country with God blessed natural resource is next? Let all African countries beware of this western supports to rebels.
I urge all Human Rights Groups around the world the UN to bring to book the killers of Col. Moammar Gadhafi and his son, because; one is not guilty until proven so by a court of law and no one can take the into it owns hands to kill another because he believes that person has committed a crime.
