Olele Still Part Of Stars

The question as to whether or not goalkeeper Richard Kingson is still part of coach Goran Stevanovics plans has received a definite answer. As far as veteran coach Sam Arday is concerned, the former Blackpool goal stopper is still part of the senior national soccer side, Black Stars. Olele is till part of the Stars. Experience is always the best teacher. The national team door is not closed on him, he said on Happy FM. Referred to as the Multi System man, coach Arday admitted that young Norwegian born Ghanaian Adam Kwarasey has fitted well into the team but stated that If he trains with Olele, he will polish the more and become a better goalkeeper. Olele has been a key performer for the Black Stars since his return to the team in 2006 but was missing the last time Stars Serbian Manager called the team for the Sudan and Nigeria clash in Khartoum and London respectively. The last time he featured for the Stars was against Congo in Kumasi in Ghanas penultimate Nations Cup qualifier. He was in post for Ghana during their first Word Cup in Germany six years ago and when Africa featured in the Mundial in South Africa. Hanging his gloves is something he is considering after the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. The Black Stars, who are in the same group with Guinea, Mali and Botswana for the 2012 Nations Cup in Equatorial Guinea/ Gabon, will be playing some friendly games this month, and indications are that Olele, now unattached, will return to the team.
