The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, is touring some flood ravaged areas of Accra. The devastating flood, which hit several parts of the capital two weeks ago, killed 12 persons and displaced thousands. The NPP flagbearer, who was in Germany when the disaster occurred, has already toured the Neoplan Station area of the Kwame Nkrumah Circle and is expected to visit other places including Odorgono and its environs. Meanwhile, the flagbearer of the main opposition is scheduled to travel to the United Kingdom for a Conference of Conservative Parties on Tuesday. The conference, which is an annual event, is being hosted this year by the Conservative Party of the UK.
