PPP Will Do Things On Different Principles Dr. Nduom

Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom, the 2008 presidential candidate of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), has told supporters of the his break away Progressive Peoples Party (PPP) that the party would be built on a solid ground and would want to do things on different principles. He said the PPP wants Ghanaians to have equal opportunities to jobs, contracts and other necessities in life without discrimination. Dr. Nduom was addressing supporters at the Upper West Regional launch of the PPP and the inauguration of its Regional and Constituency Executives in Wa on Monday. Our system of governance would be all inclusive; if there is a position, we are going to look out for the best persons to carry out the jobs. Ghana will progress if the right people are given the right jobs to deliver, Dr. Nduom said amidst applauds. He said a PPP administration would also make sure that it works to complete all projects that the previous governments had initiated. Dr. Nduom challenged executives and supporters of the Party to organise operation no zero votes at the polling stations in the 2012 general elections, saying: We do not want to see or hear what we experienced in the past. He advised supporters of the Party to talk on policies and programmes of the party and other important national issues and avoid insults so as to win the confidence of Ghanaian voters. He announced that documents on the formation of the PPP had been submitted to the Electoral Commission for approval and for the registration of the PPP as a political party to contest the 2012 general elections. Dr. Nduom said February 25, 2012 has been put aside as the national launching day of the PPP in Accra where executives of the Party as well as parliamentary candidates would be introduced. He challenged Ghanaians to change to the alternative which is the PPP to come out with good policies and programmes to improve their living circumstances. The PPP is going to grow and take over from the two Goliaths; the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC), in Ghanas politics. As they are sleeping, David is strategizing and working hard to over take the two Goliaths, so do not feel discouraged when they say they are big and you are small, Dr. Nduom told the supporters.
