The New Patriotic Party constituency Chairperson for Okaikoi South has told Citi News that she has not been suspended by the party. Reports last week indicated that Mrs. Vivian Ntiriwaa Adda had been suspended indefinitely by the party�s Greater Accra regional steering committee. The Okaikoi South Constituency of the NPP has been hit with a lot of confusion after their Parliamentary primaries. According to the committee, Vivian Ntiriwaa Adda is among party executives in the constituency who are not cooperating with the NPP parliamentary candidate for the Okaikoi South Constituency, Ahmed Arthur. The Greater Accra regional communications director for the NPP, Michael Ampong who spoke to Citi News on the matter noted that Mrs. Adda�s suspension is part of steps to ensure that there is sanity in the Okaikoi South Constituency. However, the NPP Chairperson for the constituency in an interview with Citi News denied the report stating that she is still at post. The NPP have also dismissed a purported gathering in the Okaikoi South constituency to be attended by the party�s flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo . Chairperson for the constituency Mrs. Adda said no such event is expected to take place in the constituency.
