TESCON-Legon Marks Mills F9

The Legon branch of the Tertiary Education Students Confederacy of The New Patriotic Party says the Mills-Mahama led NDC Government will score F9 if it were to be accessed based on how far it has handled the economy. At a press conference organised by TESCON-LEGON, the President of the group Andrews Asamoah said the way and manner the President answered questions at the recent editors forum showed that he was clearly not on top of issues. Touching on how the President tried justifying the recent petroleum increment as a result of the removal of subsidies and current world price of oil, TESCON says the President showed how hypocritical he was since he was the same person who when in opposition told Ghanaians that there was no subsidy on petroleum prices. Again, the group says it was surprised with the answer given by the President when asked to give three reasons why he should be voted for into power for another four years. The President gave one of his achievements as been able to maintain peace and order. Was Ghana in a state of disorder when he took the reins of office? Is there Peace and stability between FONKAR and GAME? Is there peace and stability between the people of Agogo and the Fulanis? Why were the supporters of Mahama Ayariga, a minister of state supporters beaten and properties destroyed?the TESCON President asked. Andrews Asamoah continued, if as a President you cannot maintain peace in your own party, how much more the entire nation because as the saying goes charity they say begins at home. The TESCON-Legon President added that the group was taken aback with the cheeky and arrogant manner President Mills responded to a simple answer posed by Shamima Muslim, a reporter at Citi FM, AN Accra based radio station. This is not the only first time the President has sounded cheeky, the group said, adding that on numerous instances President Mills gave similar responses when asked questions related to his Government. On the infamous Woyome Gate scandal, the President of TESCON-LEGON, said President Mills responses so far shows he was not in charge. On the issue of the press statement by Martin Amidu, the Attorney General, TESCON-LEGON asked the President to investigate the claims made by the Attorney General regarding the gargantuan crimes committed against the state by a colleague minister of state. Concluding, TESCON-LEGON said the Better Ghana that the NDC Government promised is nothing but a sham and the earlier the President came to apologize to the good people of Ghana for deceiving them, the better.
