Nana Addo To Be In Church....

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo, will join thousands of party supporters and Christians across the Western region to participate in an inter-denominational church service at the Essipon Sports Stadium near Sekondi on Sunday, January 29, 2012. The church service, which is aimed at seeking God�s guidance prior to the December 7 general elections, is on the theme, �Peace Before, During and After the 2012 General Elections.� It will offer Christians and the party members the opportunity to pray to God to grant the nation peace and national unity before and after the general elections. Kurentsir Sam, Western Regional Secretary of the NPP, who disclosed this to Daily Guide in an interview, indicated that other political parties had been invited to attend the event. He mentioned other important dignitaries that would be present at the inter-denominational church service as John Agyekum Kufuor, Ghana�s former President, Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, NPP National Chairman, former ministers of state and all the party�s 230 parliamentary candidates. It our hope that all Ghanaians will make time and be part of this special church service,� the NPP Regional Secretary remarked.
