NPPs Prayer And Thanksgiving Will Be In Vain - Felix Kwakye-Ofosu

A Youth activist of the ruling national democratic congress(NDC), Felix Kwakye-Ofosu claims the opposition NPPs prayer and thanksgiving service is in vain for they have sinned against God. According to him, the NPP has constantly rebuked President Mills for praising God as the leader of Ghana and until they (NPP) plead for forgiveness, every prayer by them will not work. This he said is an act of mockery against God. Speaking on Asempa Fm, Felix Kwakye-Ofosu noted that there is no problem with a political party committing itself to the Lord but that of the NPP is for political expediency. We cannot live without God so if a political party says it will praise and adore God, there is no problem but looking at the actions of the NPP in Ghana this prayer and thanksgiving service will not help them. We heard what they said about President Mills when he said God was the leader of Ghana. President Mills said Ghanaians should pray for Gods blessings but the NPP rebuked him and said he is using the Castle as a prayer camp. This is an act of disrespect to God and until they apologize to Mills, any prayers of theirs will fail. Quoting the scriptures to back his claims, Felix Kwakye said Galatians 6 vrs. 7 says 'do not be deceived for God cannot be mocked, for what every man sowed so shall he reap'. The NPP" he said "cannot rebuke Mills who has vowed to worship God and go ahead to pray for Gods help. You cannot mock God and praise him at the same time. Until they apologize to Mills and forgiveness from God, no amount of their prayers will yield an output. He described the NPP as a party being funded by drug dealers opining that drug dealing is forbidden in the name of God so their prayers will not be accepted by the Lord.NPP party which is solely funded by drug money cannot succeed in thanking the Lord. Their party is financed by Eric Amoateng, former MP who is currently in jail for dealing in drugs. So basically the NPPs prayer and thanksgiving service is an act of hypocrisy because they have earlier mocked and disrespected God. Felix Kwakye who is also the Convener for the Research and Advocacy Platform asserted that a party which has elected a violent leader to them is not worth praying to God. A leader like Nana Addo who has declared all-die-be-die claiming the youth of Ghana should die because he wants to be President, cannot be said to seriously pray to God. Nana Addo who has [allegedly] surrounded himself with drug dealers and money launderers will not be taken serious by God. He stressed that the NPP is praying now because they are desperate for power and they will not succeed because the Lord is not to be mocked. In the year 2000, the NPPs campaign song was gospel (awurade kasa by Cindy Thompson) but in 2008 when they got a lot of money to campaign the NPP resorted to street jams and big shows. They have now seen that after losing in 2008, there is God. Who are they fooling? He noted that due to their ungodly acts, God rejected the NPP in 2008.God blessed Ghana in 2008 by delivering us from the bad governance and electoral fraud of the NPP experienced in eight years. I would like to tell the NPP that until Nana and NPP repent from their sinful actions, their prayers will forever be rejected by God. I know they will not repent because they have no sense of remorse, he finally said.
