Ghana Premier League side Bechem United have denied media reports claiming that head coach Isaac Aquaye has quit the club.
The ex-international took charge of the relegation battlers after head coach Dan Owusu was hospitalised some months ago.
But he has failed to improve the fortunes of the new entrants as they still remain in the drop.
�I don�t know where those reports are emanating from but I can assure everybody that our coach is still with us and has not informed us of any decision as such,� CEO Kingsley Osei-Bonsu told Sunyani-based Storm FM.
�He only asked for permission to go to Accra because of health reasons and we have been in contact since then and he has told us he�ll be with the club on Wednesday.�
Bechem united lie third from bottom with 14 points after 18 matches.
