The Board of Ghana Commercial Bank Ltd (GCB) has announced the appointment of Mr. Simon Dornoo as Managing Director-Designate of the Bank.
In a statement issued today, Tuesday, December 15, 2009, the Board said Mr. Dornoo brings to the Bank, a wealth of experience in Banking and Finance in Ghana as well as considerable international exposure gained in the UK and South Africa.
�We are confident that Mr. Dornoo is eminently qualified to lead the Bank into a bright future, to position the Bank as the pre-eminent financial institution in Ghana and to create value for GCB�s shareholders� the statement added.
Until his appointment, Mr. Simon Dornoo was the head of treasury at Barclays Bank.
