The Bank of Ghana (BoG) is set to unveil the new GHC5 denomination on Friday, March 3, 2017.
The new note which is being introduced as part of the Bank of Ghana’s 60th anniversary will be in circulation from March 7, 2017.
The commemorative note would have fresh security features and a new portrait at the front and back with additional features that are sensitive to aid the visually impaired.
