Ghanaian-owned international beverage company, Kasapreko Company Limited (KCL) has opened a new ultra-modern warehouse in Tanoso Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The 1.6 million dollar warehouse facility can store approximately 50,000 cartons of drinks and it will serve the Ashanti Region all the way to Northern most part of Ghana.
At a short ceremony to open the warehouse, Group Chairman and Founder of Kasapreko, Dr Kwabena Adjei said the establishment of the Kumasi warehouse will ensure a consistent distribution and availability of Kasapreko beverages in all parts of the country.
As the leading manufacturer in the bitters market, Dr Adjei indicated that it was not out of place for Kasapreko to establish such a facility in the Ashanti Region since the companys supply chain critically routes through the region.
Consumers are at the heart of everything we do, it is in this regard I wish to acknowledge our distributors for their efforts in the distribution and investment of our brands which has translated into the growth of their individual businesses Dr. Adjei added.
Special Guest of Honor, Otumfuo Osei-Tutu II, The Asantehene, lauded Kasapreko for putting up such an edifice in Kumasi.
The Asantehene entreated local industries to learn from Kasapreko, to adopt modern market strategies and regular product innovation in order to remain competitive and attract the global market. This he said will ultimately build desirable brands and foster economic growth in the nation.
Otumfuo later officially unveiled the new Alomo Silver Bitters. The Alomo Silver is very smooth in taste and comes with all the goodness and herbal qualities of Alomo Bitters. It is targeted consumers who prefer less bitter beverages.
Ashanti Regional Minister Hon. Samuel Sarpong thanked the company for putting up such a facility in the region since it will help in employment of the youth.
The Minister urged all staff and all Ghanaians to support Kasapreko and other locally-owned companies to succeed and grow the economy.

Kasapreko is the first of local manufacturers to establish a modern quality control and product development laboratory and first to introduce their own proprietary bespoke bottles and caps.
With over 20 years of experience and credibility in the beverage industry, Kasapreko operates all over Africa in Togo, Cote-DIvoire and South Africa, with a large consumer base in Nigeria and distribution network in Europe and the Americas.
The 2013 CIMG Manufacturing Company of the Year currently has 15 brands, with Alomo Bitters being the companys flagship brand. In December 2014, Alomo Bitters was also conferred the Tourism Drink of The Year by the Ghana Tourism Authority.
