Construction Companies in Ghana have been urged to take advantage of the joint partnership of CFAO Equipment Ghana Limited and Societe Generale (SG) Ghana, dubbed “JCB Easy Lease Solution”, to purchase JCB Back Hoe Loader construction equipment.
Mr. David Dolbear, J. C. Bamford Excavators Limited General Manager — Finance Solution, said JCB products are the best in the global construction industry.
He described the new offer which enables construction companies acquire their equipment from CFAO Equipment, while SG finances the acquisition with 20 per cent down payment from the buyer, and a lease payment spread over a one-year period, as a very laudable scheme which would go a long way to boost the construction industry in Ghana.
Mr. Dolbear made the appeal in Accra in an interview with the Ghana News Agency on the sideline of the CFAO and SG joint partnership launch, “JCB Easy Lease Solution.”
He disclosed that it was the first time JCB products were being rolled out under such a scheme in West Africa, adding that globally the construction industry was facing financial challenges and such a scheme would be welcome news to them.
He said the JCB Easy Lease Solution would be monitored over six months’ period to see the response of the construction industry towards the programme in Ghana.
Mr. Dolbear observed that JCB is one of the world’s top three manufacturers of construction equipment, and that they had been in Ghana over the past 20 years.
“Be confident to use our machinery, and you will be able to compete favourably in the market to get the best solutions for your construction projects,” he stated.
