Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has hit out at suggestions from Graeme Souness that he should have been sent off against Cardiff City for kicking out at Jordan Mutch.
The England star was only booked for the seventh-minute altercation with the midfielder before opening the scoring soon after, with both David Moyes and Malky Mackay deeming the booking as sufficient.
