Bongani is emotionally bruised after being dumped by his girlfriend for mistakenly proposing to her sister on Whatsapp. The 27 year old man desires to get the love of his life back and has run out of options.
“I proposed to my woman’s sister unintentionally and she immediately forwarded the text to her without even responding to me first. “My woman approached me about it and I made matters worse by lying to her to cover up the mess.
"She told me to forget about her and that she will never trust me again,”Maziba says. Maziba explained further that he was in contact with the sister and they would use social media to communicate every now and then.
“I usually chat to the sister on Whatsapp but I just don’t understand how I sent her a text that had cost me the love of my life. “All I know is that I regret it and have no explanation for what I did.”
"I would love to make things right with my woman as she is my everything. I planned to marry her. Now she does not want to take my calls or listen to anything I say. I feel like ending my life. I don't know what to do."

•Do not propose to someone on Whatsapp. If you plan to spend the rest of your life with someone, at least give him/her five minutes of your face-value time to pop the question. His/ her reaction will be worth seeing.

•Do not say things on Whatsapp that you would not have the guts to say face-to-face. Pluck up the courage and make a call or go visit. Some words can be misconstrued / misunderstood which will only make matters worse.
