Mariah Carey's festive smash All I Want For Christmas Is You is close to selling a million copies in the United Kingdom – almost twenty years after it was originally released.
The track lost out to East 17 and Stay Another Day in the race for the number one spot following its initial release in 1994, but its enduring popularity and a surge in sales every December has boosted sales to a total of 985,700 copies.
