Troubled Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is believed to have been quizzed by police over allegations the car he was driving was in a collision with a photographer.
The £42.5million record signing was back at home in Germany on Monday night after being given a two-day break to get away from problems on and off the pitch – he was dropped from Saturday's team following a dismal Champions League display against Bayern Munich.
Ozil was not even named among the subs by boss Arsene Wenger for the 4-0 win over Sunderland, the day after the alleged incident which happened in Highgate, North London.
